Under Old Business:

Jeff reported that he had purchased 4 more picnic tables and he gotten rid of the old ones.

Curtis Stevens reported the 45 year old class rode right this past race Sunday. It was a good clean race. Recognition went to Sonny Jones for the whole day in the sun flagging at Freestone. The shirts that were purchased for $ 60.00 each looked very nice and Tony Moore did a good job designing the shirts. Jeff was awarded the 75th Happy Anniversary plaque to the Waco Eagles around 12:30 pm.

Jeff also looked at some buildings for around $ 2,000.00. Discussion broke out about rebuilding the MX scoring tower and building. Jeff said Hensel would do the electricity since he rides out there and that Brian Johnson would give us a price on helping with the bldg.. Maybe get some members with Kevin Kimmel help build the building ourselves. Jeff said that the members needed to look at the bathroom situation.

Under new business: Jeff reported that maybe with the new tower the finish line could be seen from the tower where the scorers could see with big full windows.

The flat track shed needs a new door frame.

Curtis said that the solenoid went out in the big white water truck and he would fix it. Glenn said he would schedule a date to shred the flat track.

Jeff said that on the work day the workers got rid of a lot of scrape.

Ross said that the taxes to the IRS had been paid since we’re not a non-profit organization. Ross said the club could save some money since we were only tax on the gate & memberships. Discussion broke out about different riders would pay more for entry fees instead of paying their gate entry.

Jeff asked Glenn what if the club used the container for the finish line jump covering it with dirt. Glenn said it would insulate that part of the container and that the rest would be exposed. I would last as long as they will.

Discussion broke out again about members letting non-members and riding. Non members need to come in and pay their $ 10.00 and sign a release. Non-members and the gate being left open has been a big problem.

Jeff asked for a motion to adjourn. Lori Collier made the motion everyone seconded. Meeting adjorned.

Motion to adjourn was made. Meeting adjourned.
