Meeting called to order at 7:16pm with the Pledge of Allegance lead by President Jeff Gilbert.
Secretary & Vice President were both not in attendance, therefore the minutes from the previous months meeting were not available.
Treasury report was read by Tresuror Ross Stovall
Total bills paid for the month were $5739.00 which included approx $3200.00 in taxes.
Race fees from the June MX races was $1465.
Gate was $406.
$322. pay out to workers.
Bank balance is $6303. in money market & $7340. in checking for a total of approx $15000. in the bank including balances from the flat track, MX, and maint. account. The tax payment check had not cleared as of yet.
Old Business
Old business was not available from previous meeting minutes however the toilet has been fixed but the septic needs attention.
New Business
Jessie Snyder stated that material cost only from Pioneer Steel would be approx $4800. to erect a 90x15 cover over the MX starting gate. In a phone conversation today between Jeff Gilbert & Ron Sipe, Ron stated that he had enough pipe at home to build the cover and that Ron Kasberg had also the corregated tin and that they would both donate the material and have the "Snyder boys" weld it together. He thinks he has enough to do the entire job.
Don Miller stated that he was still willing to purchase a load of sand for the track
Don Miller suggested that we look in to purchasing T-shirts, caps, bumper stickers, etc. and sell at the races.
TJ Schmoler placed 9th in the over 45 Crosscountry race at Freestone last week.
No further new business.
